Chocolate Cinnamon Porridge

A hearty winter treat

​

2 cups rolled oats

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1/4 tsp nutmeg

4 cups water

1 cup coconut cream

1 large ripe banana

6 pieces of dark chocolate (70-95%)

​

Combine oats, salt, spices and cold water and soak overnight.

​

Next day, heat the oats until they boil then add the coconut cream and chocolate.  Add the mashed banana and mix well then serve.
